Please note, this latest batch has a yellow tint to the base due to the current batch of wave shaped glitters releasing a small amount of colour. This is most noticeable when worn over lighter colours and does not affect the performance of the colour. For best results, I recommend using this topper over darker colours where the tint will not be seen .

I hope to rectify this issue shortly and have more glitter on the way to test.

A clear glitter topper filled with gold holographic wave shaped glitters and gold hex glitters.
It looks amazing over every colour!
This glitter polish is designed to be worn over other colours, top coat recommended for a glossy finish.

    So fun

Loved the reference photo, and was able to recreate it! Beautiful, though still working on even distribution, and needed 2-3 coats of top coat to smooth out totally.

Love this topper! So elegant. Definitely needs a good top coat or two over it to keep the edges of the swirls down, but that's no big deal.

Very pretty! I had to glob it on to get a lot of the little spirals, but the sparkle is amazing!

Waiting for the Sun is such a unique topper! It’s a mix of small gold-to-red S-shaped squiggles, small gold hex glitter, and very tiny gold-to-rainbow glitter. I was worried it might be hard to get the placement of the squiggles just right, but the bottle is really packed with glitter and one swipe looks great without much if any manual adjusting needed. It’s textured so do plan to wear a thick, plush top coat and/or “glitter-grabbing” top coat to smooth it out. Some of the squiggles near my cuticles stuck up a little once dry and I had to trim them off with cuticle nippers. So it’s a little bit high maintenance, but worth the ethereal look especially over a sheer or nude polish! It’s hard to think of a cream or jelly color that this wouldn’t look cute over. Shown here over Lavender Jelly by Cirque.

Exactly as described! The distribution of the unique glitters is generous. Currently it’s my favorite topper!

This glitter topper is so creative! I’ve never seen the little squiggly glitters before. It looks just as advertised. Shipping was fast and the bottles were securely packaged. There’s a lot of glitters in the bottle, which is great! I did one coat and it gave me the perfect amount of glitters. I will definitely be purchasing more from this shop!

Looks best over a dark color

Upon first sight, I was convinced this topcoat had over the top potential. Generally I avoid glitters as they tend to be difficult to remove, but there are occasionally exceptions, and Waiting for the Sun was worth it. I am using it over a dark green magnetic with gold undertones. The results are stunning.

    the best for jelly sandwiches!

As a previous review illustrates, this topper makes the most amazing jelly sandwiches, whoa. I alternate a thin layer of one of the sheer tints EdM offers (so far my faves for this have been Sheer Tint Crimson and Sheer Tint Meadow (not together! ha :)), then a thickish/densely packed layer of Waiting for the Sun (making sure to get some of the long wavy flake bits on each nail, and if needed moving them closer to the center of the nail as if overlapped off the edges of the nail they can snag and rip the polish off later), rinse repeat for 4 layers total plus the usual base and topcoat. Doesn't take as long as it sounds. The rainbow effect as the light catches the gold flakes is even more stunning and noticeable (!), multidimensional, suspended in the jelly sandwich. Super worth doing. Fantastic. I've tried one of the "shortcut" versions EdM's offered (this kind of glitter already in a jelly, all in one bottle) but they don't work as well, not a true layered suspension so not as visually complex (that light-catching "underwater" effect I love) plus all-in-one bottled versions mean the chunky glitter isn't smoothed out by multiple layers of jelly above to keep it from being bumpy and chipping. So I'll keep doing my own jelly sandwiches, it is so, so worth it using this topper! EdM makes the best jellies and best toppers so it works out great.

Excellent topper...irony with the USA screwworm debacle is not lost on me. Regardless..

great pattern, really good to use it to apply on top of pure color. Maybe need double top coat to stop the edge peeling off.

I saw this once, did not get it right away, kicked myself, and then scoured Etsy trying to find it again. I like the shaped glitter on dark solid colors, like royal blue or rouge noir.
